Just landed in Stockholm and its time to look back and it's with mix feeling. One fantastic thing with this trip is that I have meet really great Airshow performers from all over the world and to be able to share experience, get feedback and new ideas. The military personel on the airbase always take care of us.
Well It feels good to get my 2 container and 3 aircraft back to Sweden and I hope to be able to make same displays in Scandinavia & Europe, we have not done that for 2 seasons now ;)...what happen next? well don't know exactly but of course more Air show adventure will follow with me and the Scandinavian Airshow team. :) thanks for follow me and over & out for this time.

Some more pictures of today...

Last day at Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2011

Today the weather was perfect. Blue sky. The air show day started very good and we flew Catwalk and Wasp in the display. Python was scheduled to fly in the end of the show day but due to delay in the program the last flights were cancelled - among others Python too. :-(
We have managed to disassemble a big part of Catwalk then back to the hotel a closing ceremony waited in form of a garden party. Each team received a gift from the organizers. We had a great evening and closing of the air show.

A great air show day

Today we started to take pictures from Helicopter OTTO with an Italian photographer Andrea Pozza. We got really nice weather, blue sky light winds and +25 C.
All aircrafts worked perfectly. Python works excellent in this hot condition with the shell W120. I made a really long hover today :-)
The girls were very tired after the 40 minutes photo shooting over the desert but they are charging their batteries now with some rest.
Tomorrow is the last air show day. The goal is to make it as perfect as we can.

A great day and a great airshow. Everything vent really great even though I was really tired

The rumor says that the sheik will come and visit the air show tomorrow and on Saturday the prince will come too. We will see :-)

Some more pictures from today....6-days-old camel was hungry......

The girls out for shopping....

Happy Birthday sister!

Cancelled air show today which meant rest for me but the rest of the team went out into the desert. Benny and Claes had fun in the sand ;-) Edit, Sus, Claes and myself visited a camel farm. Emma had time to work out in the hotel gym and the swimming pool so she is very happy. The other girls has visited the local market for fabric and after finding some nice pieces they found a seamstress to tailor make their dresses. Today it was my sister Linda´s birthday which we celebrated with singing happy birthday in the morning and giving presents and balloons. In the evening we ended dinner with a beautiful birthday cake for her. Tomorrow the air show is cancelled for the public?! but there will be a whole day of rehearsal. We hope that the weather will be better tomorrow. The best of the pictures on this blog is taken by Emma Alexson, one of our Skycats. :-)

A day with really strong wind and visibilty around 3000m= sand everywere. You got the sand in your eyes and mouth when walking outside so no flights today, and same weather tomorrow so the airshow is cancelled tomorrow! Well the wind will decrease after 14:00 so we will see if there be any eveningflight for us. Edit enjoy to spend same time in the pool today:-). The organiser had a openening party this evening very nice..:-)
